A few comments by previous clients.

"Colin was fantastic all the way through - from our first meeting to the delivery of the beautifully executed photo album. Unfortunately we only had Colin taking photos on the day, as his assistant Gillian was unwell, but he never let this impact on anything. We had lots of comments from our guests about Colin's professionalism and unobtrusive style, and we love the candid photos of people enjoying themselves that this style produced.

We don't have much experience with other wedding photographers, but we were surprised at how much time Colin gave us, both before and after the wedding. We never felt pressurised when trying to decide on the design of the album or what photos to include, and he was always willing to go back to the start and come up with new ideas, or take on board ideas that we had. We also felt that Colin was very honest, and not simply trying to flog us the most expensive products when they didn't necessarily suit our tastes. The products included in the package, including DVD, slideshow and aftercare, were all well worth it and seem to be something different that other photographers don't offer - or at least not at such good value for money.

All in all, we are delighted with our choice of photographer for the most important day of our lives, and have already personally recommended him to several others."

I wanted to say how pleased we were to have chosen Colin as our wedding photographer. Right from the start he was gentle, kind, professional, and clearly priced. During our engagement shoot I was feeling nervous and slightly self conscious on a busy bank holiday in Winchester. I did not however need to be, because he made us both feel at ease.  He was so calm and applied no pressure. Colin and his wife Gillian were very punctual and blended in well on our wedding day. They took a lovely mixture of semi formal and informal shots, really capturing the relaxed mood of our wedding. Guest commented on how friendly and thorough Colin was too. He stayed right into the evening and took some amazing striking pictures of our firework display. When we went to look at the photos only a few weeks after the wedding at his house, my husband and I cried because the slideshow was so beautiful! We are now in the process of choosing our favourites to make our photobook...a tricky task because we could choose them all! Once we have done that, we will feel 100% comfortable leaving the task of choosing the remaining pictures and arranging the layout of the book to the real artist here (Colin). We would recommend him to any of our friends.

Thank you so much Colin

Facebook: Total movie cover shot! Love love love this!

Recently Colin was the photographer at our wedding, we were very pleased with the results. We got some great photos. Prior to the day he discussed what he would do and we were able to specify exactly which shots of the day we did and did not want. Colin delivered exactly the shots we asked for. We had an engagement shoot which was useful, to help us get used to being photographed and set our expectations of what we look like in photos. I had no idea I closed my eyes so much- although my husband thought the photos were great.  Colin captured some lovely shoots between the blinks. From the engagement shoot we had a photo for the wedding day itself, which people could sign and leave messages for us. Its a great reminder of the day which we have hung up on our wall.

Colin arrived at the right time on the day itself to get relaxed shots of people arriving and chatting prior to the ceremony and also shots of myself, bridesmaids and Dad as we got ready. The hairdresser was really impressed with Colin as he allowed her to get on with the job of making me beautiful without a camera being stuck in her face which she said had occurred at previous weddings. I don't like posing for shots and Colin got the balance right between getting formal shots of me and the bridal party and getting photos as they happen.

During the wedding Colin unobtrusively took photos as I walked down the aisle and took the vows without getting in the way. When I entered the ceremony room I promptly burst into tears, Colin politely took no photos until I was ready.  He took some wonderful images of the many children who took part in the wedding ceremony. He has some beautiful shots of Steve and me putting on rings and saying our vows.

Colin is very knowledgeable and has a great technical expertise. He presented to us very quickly a complete set of photos to choose our final images from. From close up shots, action dancing shots, sparkly light evening shots to wonderful evening light couple shots the images were great. He patiently explained the paper, album, layout and cover choices available to us so we could choose an album which matched our expectations. Rather than choosing the best of what is available. My husband is a details man and likes everything to be of a good standard. Colin lived up to his expectations and was clear and precise with his explanations.

Overall we were very pleased with Colin and would recommend him for other weddings for the quality of the images, speed of service and and technical knowledge. We have some wonderful photos in a lovely album which is a great reminder of an amazing day.  Janet

"Thank you colin, our engagement photo shoot with you has been a great experience and the results are self explanatory, great photos and dvd , a very enjoyable and memorable day can't wait until our wedding day and seeing the results of our photo's as nothing seems to be to much trouble for you ,we are sure now that we have made a very good choice of photographer many thanks Richard and Laura"

“We were both apprehensive at first about what to do and how to act and to be honest, if it wasn't included in the package it would definitely not be something either of us would do, but once we both relaxed we had an amazing time and the photos look great! I would recommend the experience to anyone it was a great fun day out”  A.T.

My Fiancé and I booked Colin for our wedding which is booked for May 2013 and have to say we are absolutely thrilled with the service we have received so far.

Colin took the time to talk through all the options available to us and we came away with a tailored package which suited our personal requirements.

We recently had a engagement shoot and the pictures were absolutely gorgeous and we are so happy with them. Colin is very personable and this helped us relax and get the best out the afternoon which was great fun.

We are very much looking forward to the big day ahead!

Colin and Gillian provided us with not only a wonderful memory of a great day but did so in an very supportive manner, were unobtrusive when appropriate, were great with the family and had a range of ideas to capture the essence of the day we planned. We felt ourselves to be very fortunate that they provided our wedding album and more.

Thank you for the pictures, they are fantastic, we will definitely be keen to order the signature frame.

Many thank

I can not thank Colin enough for his effort for our wedding.

He is professional and understands our individual needs.  As my husband has anxiety, he made us feel relaxed and allowed us to mingle and enjoy our day with friend and family.

 Thank you so much!

Hi Colin,

We have received the video and we absolutely love it, the extra pictures were a lovely surprise
Thanks again

Colin took some terrific pictures, we're really pleased with them. Our wedding was a party, it was not particularly formal, and that seems to have been a good match to Colin's style of photography. He spent a lot of time over it all, arriving well before the ceremony so as to get pictures of people preparing. He seems to be on top of the technical matters. Colin took several hundred photographs and made them all available to us over the web, we have selected a subset for finishing-off and printing. Some of the guests took pictures as well, and Colin was happy to include the ones we liked in the wedding album. We also went on a photo shoot before the wedding. The one regret I have is that we hadn't made arrangements for who would usher the crowd on the day, so the crowd control was not as clean as it might have been.  That's not so much a criticism of Colin, more a piece of advice for anyone getting married - make sure you know who will be ushering the guests!

We have been able to open the pictures for the album. Wow- I love the layout and progression of pictures telling the story. I don't know where to start with the ones I like. My favourite page is the one with a double page spread of everyone taking pictures and then small pictures of us signing. The background is fab.

The detail of the dress on page 6 over the spine is cool. I really like the colours and pictures of everyone on page 7 prior to the ceremony. Then you have a darker page next with more nice pictures of the little ones and us walking in.

The progression of pictures really does tell the story of the day. I didn't appreciate how the individual pictures would come together to form a much nicer whole altogether. I like the combination of large individual pictures on some pages to the combination of pictures on the next. I like the picture of the room on page 19 then the individual pictures opposite, as a picture on its own I didn't realise how nice it would look combined and its really nice to have that memory of the room preserved forever.

I like the pictures from the speeches on page 22 I can hear adrian say the words worlds end - its a story he tells often and from that picture we will always remember. Then the pictures on page 22 are great- its so nice to have a set of Steve giggling.

The next few pages are all wow. The party shots on page 23 are lovely- especially the dancing lights and the girls at the bar. The next shot of barn dancing with the signature print behind is really nice- the colours work against the black and white nicely. The book then ends with some great shots of the honeymoon.

Overall a lovely book and much better than I initially thought it would be based on individual pictures.

A comment from Colin, this sums up for me  that an Album is really so much more than just a collection of pictures, telling and developing a story of a day is very important to me and I spend a huge amount of time doing this for my clients, photographing a wedding is the easy part for a photographer, its what we do with the pictures afterwards that is really important, so as to bring the memories back to life  and I always aim to give that 100% effort, so many pictures are taken now that we will vanish onto a hard drive never to be seen again, a beautiful book is such a great way to preserve memories.

Using graphi-studio and its been worth every penny. We opted for quite a large formal book with a box and four little books that we could give away to close family.

The little books are absolutely great! There the perfect size to be a great memento of your day for special family and friends, it also meant that I could take it to work to show colleagues without worrying about our 'formal' book being damaged.

The box that we got for our book was also worth the extra money, as you can look through your book without even taking it out the box. It also has a disc holder at the bottom which was perfect for holding our slideshow DVD.
